Border Control

Border control is performed when entering or leaving the Republic of Bulgaria.

On border crossing are made verification of documents, vehicles, goods, personal baggage and is kept full records of persons who are entering or leaving, which records include their names, passport data, the endpoint of their journey and purpose of visit.

Depending on in whose territory is made the border control there can be a verification of people and baggage with a X-ray scanner, metal detector, can be made a video record and more.
